While we began by servicing hospitals (including patient and employee lunches) and universities in Los Angeles; we now reach the entire Southern California, Southern Nevada and Southern Arizona areas with a customer base that includes medical centers, film production caterers, convention centers, convenience stores, vending service, natural food stores and retail foodservice… whoever may need Fresh & Ready Foods®.

How we do it...
Distribution: Products are delivered in refrigerated vehicles. The temperatures and conditions are closely monitored throughout the distribution process. Our trucks are always on the move, from Southern California to Southern Nevada, seven days a week. Whether we're sending out thousands of box lunches for a major convention, or merchandising one of our refrigerated units at a college, hospital or convenience stores we service, we pride ourselves on prompt delivery. We can help your facility maintain a food program that is both fresh and ready by pricing, dating, and rotating your items for you!
Production: We currently operate two large-scale production facilities in San Fernando, CA, and Las Vegas, NV, and a Distribution Center in San Diego, CA. From our state of the art commercial production facilities, we have the capacity to manufacture our full line of sandwiches, salads, box lunches and baked goods no matter what size the event. We buy our meats direct from the packers, our produce straight from the farm and our artisan breads come from local gourmet bakeries daily. Our production crew is instructed to follow strict guidelines in GMP's, ensuring a consistent, high quality product.
Food Safety
A Registered Dietitian directs our comprehensive food safety program. It includes detailed inspections, laboratory analysis and ongoing employee training. In addition to the local health department and state authorities, our program is also reviewed by additional surveyors such as the USDA, U.S. Military, the FDA, and third party auditors.
Food Safety is our number one concern. As a fresh food vendor, under the guidance of our in-house registered dietitian, we maintain a highly effective and detailed food safety program. Our facilities follow the strict guidelines of food safety and sanitation reflected in our HACCP plans, Sanitation Procedures, Standard Operating Procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices. Additionally, our production kitchens and processing facilities undergo a 40-item comprehensive inspection audit several times a day.
Because we manufacture fresh, ready to eat products, we are greatly concerned with food borne illness-causing bacteria. We routinely monitor our equipment and working environment for the presence of harmful bacteria and to verify the overall cleanliness of our facilities. All production personnel undergo continual food safety and sanitation training. We maintain product indemnification insurance and guarantee complete satisfaction of our products.
